What is Bronchial Termoplasty?
BT is a procedure where a flexible catheter is used to apply gentle heat to srhink the smooth muscles in your lungs.It was approved by the FDA in 2010 for the treatment of severe persistent asthma

How is Bronchial Thermoplasty performed?
Bronchial Thermoplasty is done as a same day procedure. You will go to a hospital to get bronchial thermoplasty, it is done in three separate sessions four to six weeks apart. Each treatment takes less than an hour
Is Bronchial Thermoplasty right for me?

If you continue to exhibit asthma symptoms despite taking your medication appropriately, you may be a candidate for BT and you can discuss with us.

BT is for:
Patients who are on maximum tolerated doses of combined ICS and LABA's such as Advair™, Dulera™, and Symbicort™, and who may also experience one or more of the following:

Patients who take oral steroids for asthma attacks more than twice a year

Patients who do not qualify for or do not respond to Anti-IgE therapy

Patients who take oral steroids as daily maintenance medication
